Practical information
How do coupons work on site?
Once you are inside the festival, everything you have bought loads onto your app and your wristband — there is nothing to print, carry or collect, and nothing to do before you arrive. Each coupon is worth one item in its category: one meal, one beer or glass of wine, one cocktail, one elixir, one treatment, one sauna ceremony, one shower. Tap your wristband at the bar, the kitchen or the wellness area.
When are coupons valid, and can I pass them on?
Coupons are valid for the whole festival, 11–15 August 2026 — they are not tied to a particular day, so you can use them whenever you like across the five days. They are linked to your wristband and are non-transferable: they cannot be resold, shared or given to someone else.
Why is buying a bigger pack cheaper?
Larger packs are priced at a discount against the smallest pack in the same range — 5% or 10% depending on the size. Every card shows the exact price per coupon so you can compare without doing the arithmetic, and the “best value” badge always marks the genuinely lowest price per coupon in that range.
Are the prices final, and do they include VAT?
The prices shown are the confirmed 2026 prices in Icelandic króna, and they include VAT. What you see is what you pay.
Can I get a refund on coupons I do not use?
No — coupon packs are non-refundable, and unused coupons are not refunded after the festival. They are also non-transferable, so they cannot be passed on or resold. Coupons are valid across the whole festival, so buy the pack size you will realistically get through.
Do wellness treatments and sauna ceremonies need booking?
Your coupon guarantees a booked slot — a wellness treatment coupon is a treatment, and a sauna ceremony coupon is entry to a ceremony, not a place in a queue. Both are capacity-limited, so book your times when you arrive.
Where is the festival?
Snæfellsnes in west Iceland, near Hellissandur — roughly two and a half to three hours’ drive from Reykjavík. Totality is at 17:45 on 12 August 2026. Travel, shuttle and camping information is on eclipse.is.
